QUARD® wear resistant plates are produced at NLMK Clabecq Belgium and treated in state-of-the-art Quenching and Tempering unit. 

Hardness of QUARD® plates is 400 HB (QUARD® 400), 450 HB (QUARD® 450) and 500 HB (QUARD® 500). QUARD® slabs are available in thicknesses ranging from 3.2 mm to 64 mm, widths from 1,500 to 3,100 mm.

QUARD® is developed for construction and mining equipment moreover it is widely used for excavators, dump trucks, bulldozers, hoppers, mixers, etc. Because of its wear and abrasion resistant properties QUARD® is highly recommended for very demanding industries like cement, mining, recycling, agriculture to fight wear and abrasion. The use of QUARD® may result in product lifetime being more than tripled when compared to products made from standard grades of steel. Use of QUARD wear and abrasion resistant steel will reduce downtime and heavy costs.

Almost all cement plants are our regular customers for QUARD wear resistant steel. We offer raw plates as well as fabricated parts according to customer’s drawings for different applications.
